Product Safety Begins with the Management System
Marini adopts a quality management system according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard, aiming to ensure continuous improvement of products and services. An integral part of this improvement concerns safety: products are designed and manufactured to protect the health of operators who use them.
Marini is also actively involved in developing the new European standard for bituminous mix production machines, intended to replace the previous UNI EN 536:2001.
CE Marking and Plant Safety
The CE mark, mandatory in the European Union, certifies product compliance with European safety directives. For Marini, all plants intended for the EU market carry the CE mark, as do those for non-EU markets, according to the main directives:
2006/42/CE Machinery Directive
2006/95/CE Low Voltage Directive
2014/30/EU Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive
The CE marking ensures compliance with all safety requirements, while Marini plants continue to comply with the technical standard UNI EN 536:2001.
Plant Safety: Marini Does Not Settle
In addition to the standard devices present in competitors’ plants, Marini integrates additional solutions to increase safety during use and maintenance:
- Interlocked anti-intrusion and anti-trap keys, compliant with EN 1088:2008, to prevent unauthorized access to hazardous areas.
- Emergency stops on all modules, according to EN ISO 13850:2006, to ensure immediate intervention when needed.
- Digital user and maintenance manual, also accessible on tablets, to facilitate access to operational and safety information.
- In addition to safety devices, Marini carries out complementary activities to ensure correct plant operation:
- Testing of safety devices, carried out by Marini technicians.
- Training courses for operators on normal plant use and maintenance.azione per operatori sull’uso e la manutenzione ordinaria degli impianti.
Design and Structural Resistance
Marini plants are designed using the finite element method, in accordance with Eurocodes and NTC 2018, to ensure resistance to expected loads.
Marini plants can be installed in areas with the following characteristics:
Seismic: Zone I, according to NTC 2018
Wind: Zone 9, according to NTC 2018
Snow: maximum load 200 kg/m²
